Five Brain Teasers -
1. A murderer is condemned to death. He has to choose between three rooms. The first is full of raging fires, the second is full of assassins with loaded guns, and the third is full of lions that haven't eaten in 3 years. Which room is safest for him?
2. A woman shoots her husband. Then she holds him under water for over 5 minutes. Finally, she hangs him. But 5 minutes later they both go out together and enjoy a wonderful dinner together. How can this be?
3. What is black when you buy it, red when you use it, and gray when you throw it away?
4. Can you name three consecutive days without using the words Monday, Wednesday, or Friday?
5. This is an unusual paragraph. I'm curious how quickly you can find out what is so unusual about it. It looks so plain you would think nothing was wrong with it. In fact, nothing is wrong with it! It is unusual though. Study it, and think about it, but you still may not find anything odd. But if you work at it a bit, you might find out. Try to do so without any coaching!

The first is full of raging fires, the second is full of assassins with loaded guns, and the third is full of lions that haven't eaten in 3 years. Which room is safest for him? the lions are the safest since they are probably dead by now, after not eatig for 3 years By the way, I had a pleasure to be eye to eye with a beautiful male adult lion. I was taking a ZOO docent course and the ZOO boss took us to the secret places where we could see animals close. There was a huge beautiful male lion sitting there behind the glass window. He was sitting majestically, he looked at me, I looked at him. We kept looking at each other for maybe a minute until the ZOO senior-docents were hurrying us up to leave. But this was amazing. I could feel this lion's grace, majesty and pride like never before

Jaga...you must have done this quiz before....LOL
Speaking of animals last night there was an intersting show on bison. Watch those guys from a distance and don't invade their space. If you see them lifting their tail and they aren't deficating...ruuuuuuuuuunnnn..they will charge. (yet they look so docile)
Same with your lion. Good thing he was behind glass..was it lunch time....just kidding. They are beautiful animals. I love cats ...all sizes.

Speaking of animals last night there was an intersting show on bison. Watch those guys from a distance and don't invade their space. If you see them lifting their tail and they aren't deficating...ruuuuuuuuuunnnn..they will charge. (yet they look so docile) I was in Yellowstone park one winter and returning from a round of cross country skiing and came across this meadow with bison and elk grazing on the exposed grass (it is a thermal-rich area). My choice was to go around them, which would have meant another mile or so, or through the group, just a few hundred feet. I threaded my way through the animals without disturbing them. It was quite interesting and unusual to get within 30 feet or so of so many large wild animals. There are other times when caution is the rule to be followed, as in a week ago I was cross country skiing here and saw a moose in my path at the bottom of the hill. Rather than hit the moose or come whizzing by extremely closely, I chose to spill or fall, stopping and letting it go peacefully on its way. Happily it bothered the moose enough that it scurried away from me and not in my direction. Kai

That one is easy for someone who spent many long hours in a darkroom. The woman took a photo of her husband, developed and rinsed the negative and then hung it up to dry.
Reminds me of how nice all this new digital photography really is.

Kai...you didn't give me a chance to answer but if you had I would have gotten 2 correct. No. 1 and No. 3 I got right. Hey 50 50 is better than a big fat 0.
