John,
I watched the first video. It is interesting - starting with the statistics where majority of people live and finishing with the highest paid public employees. I still cannot agree with Great Britain invading so many countries. They blow up the statistics with some treaties. There was never British soldier in Poland invading Poland.
How are you doing John? How was your Christmas?

An interesting presentation I must also say. As with Jaga, also my self did watch closely the first video and agree with Jaga with the resulting impressions.
Yes, not only was Germany to invade the home land I lived in, but at end of the war, so did the military of the United Kingdom. Although under both occupations, we {at least for our selves} were not to suffer additional hardships that was not our own. Although of late to read of some various nasty stuff that occured in other areas by the German military, we apparently must have been spared, or, it was the matter that we did not invite a problem.
The Brits with their occupation, were not kind to us, but seemed to be very concerned we as children would not grow up and harbour very ill feelings toward them, With this, appeared to be concerned we needs be to learned their language.
It is an interesting situation in life, once wartime occupied by the German military, now a dual German citizen and working for them. I am not sure even a witch would have fore seen this..

John, How are you doing John? How was your Christmas? Well, This season was different than the last 74. We were all prepared to celebrate and then I was taken to the ER on the 16th with a blood clot in my right leg. No pain just swelling and now meds. Then to make me feel better my wife had to go to the ER last Saturday with a non functioning hip. She claimed she wanted us to do things together. We're still working on a solution for that. So, Christmas was quiet for us. My wife received some newer pieces for her Polish Pottery collection. We now have a service for 12 pretty much built up. I received a new Ranch Coat that was a perfect fit. All in all it was OK as we are convalescing together. Side by side in our recliners. I did receive an interesting gift from our cousin. A Copper Chef pot that comes with an induction cook top. That will be tried out today to see how it works. I tried to make Piernik 3 times and failed all three times. So I finally found a Eastern European grocery that had it and bought one along with a Poppy Seed Strudel. Christmas Day I roasted a Prime Rib roast and we had 6 people sitting. It turned out delicious especially with the mashed potatoes and gravy. I added Blue Hubbard Squash and baby peas to the mix and everyone was quite happy. Complement the food with a 'Menage a Troise California Red and we were good to go for a long time. I hope that all of you folks enjoyed the company of all your loved ones and friends with smiles and warm feelings to carry you through the New Year. "Salute !!!!!"

John, thanks for your personal e-mail! Yes, we start having problems - glad that this cloth was just in the leg, so you are OK now. Does you wife expect a hip surgery soon?
Referring to finding the store with Polish piernik - this is just an adjustment you had to go in life and it can get better!
Just keep on being in a good mood and having a sense of humor, it is always helping, like here:

Some how I missed this bit of loused luck with the blood clot in your leg and your wifes problem with her hip. Were you both able to see a doctor for both issues? These things tend to be very serious for as a blood clot is not some thing to ignore in the case it travels, my self am not a physician, but your wifes hip issues could be something her body is telling her..
It is my sincere hope and trust that both issues will become in short order: A non-issue..
