Idea of these thread is gathering together cyber or virtual libraries. As I have recognized lot of people in Forum are interested not only in Polish culture but in universal. So let me give some links: books.google.com/ - great engine. For polish things type for example "Lelewel". Button Search=.full view in advanced search is very useful. www.bg.umcs.lublin.pl/nowa/literat.php on the page of Maria-Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin. If you want to search polish books online try this first. NOTE- It is known that book published in 2002 would rather not be available legal on web. As a result some newest data comes from 1930'. Libraries in system dLibra. Those have very friendly interface. English versions are selectable. Searching catalog position by position is not nice employ. So there is a need to precise what we look for. typin' "monumenta" in Poznan Cyber Library gives www.wbc.poznan.pl/dlibra/results?action=SearchAction and between many others address book of Poland from 1928 including Danzig, probably useful source fir discovering genealogy.
