Jaga....probably more than half of these people are of Jewish heritage Jewish people are smart and if they came from Poland they are mentioned with Polish and Jewish heritage. This is something that really puzzles me ...
Why and under what circumstances do we sometimes use religious/cultural identification over national identification? Is it appropriate? When and why? Who gets to decide the ifs and whens?

I wouldn't worry about your omission; my literary ancestor isn't even mentioned and it would also be interested to know how many Poles had even heard of 90% of the people mentioned - I would have said some were infamous rather than famous!
