It was a good game Jaga, and the nice thing in the Netherlands was that it was so popular with Dutch women and girls who supported their team. But not only Dutch girls and women, but also Dutch boys and men, grandparents and children liked it. It is less popular though than male soccer and therfor the squares, pubs, and halls with large television screens were less populated than when the male national team plays. The difference between the USA and the Netherlands is that soccer is a women sport in the USA and a predominantly male sport in the Netherlands. Much more tradition, heritage and money is in male soccer in the Netherlands than women soccer. That is the huge difference between the Dutch women soccer and the American women soccer. The American women soccer is more professional and has a longer tradition at higschools, universities and in soccer clubs and competitions.
Yes, the Dutch Lionesses fought well, the American ladies were the better team. It was a good match to watch.
In the Netherlands though the support for our women could be better. These video's are about the fans who went to France, but in the Netherlands it was more quiet. Many people are on vacation and many people didn't watched the match. Also women. Of course there are people who don't like soccer or hate soccer.
