Dutch Roman Catholic christmas mass
This lovely christmas mass took place in the Zeeuws-Vlaanderen (Flemish-Zeeland) part of Zeeland in the town of Hulst in 2016.
Next to the Reformatory Protestant, Roman Catholic and Lutheran churches we also have a lot of Evangelical and Baptist christians in the Netherlands. They have their way of celebrating christmas.
They even use dance performances.

Pieter
It is good you are bringing forth the emages of Christmas. For this is a wonderful time of the year in as well as the reason of Christmas being the Birth of Christ. All things then follow with celebrations and gift giving in as well as bright colours in lights and decorations. For this also serves a purpose of giving people hope and cheer to bring out the warmth from the hearts for others to remove the gloom of winter..

Dear Jaga,
This happened to me as well several times. Sometimes a quite good text, letter or e-mail disappeared. I had to accept that and get over it. Today I often types texts in Apple text or word and the save it and after that copy paste it to the Forum so to make sure I don’t lose it. just tried to post but my post disappeared
I saw images of you in Texas on Facebook. I am glad that the weather is good is good to you. Hope you have a great time with John and John’s family over there in the South. Ela must have a wonderful christmas in Poland with her Poland. It must be great to experience a traditional Polish Roman Catholic christmas in Poland with a Polish christmas mass in the evening or maybe later during christmas day when she received her luggage.
Jaga, Karl and I often tried to explain Europe. Despite the EU, Europe is a continent with different countries, different national systems, different customs organisations, bureaucracies and etc. I had the same problem Ela had in 2004 when I flew from Capetown to Amsterdam via Heathrow airport. I had 2 different flights. British Airways from Capetown to London, and from London to Amsterdam. In Capetown there was a delay. So in London I had to run my lungs out of my body from one plane to the other one to Amsterdam. Never had run that fast in my life. But due to the delay, my luggage stayer behind in London, and my plane left for Amsterdam.
There was quite expensive Canon reflex camera, lenzes, flashlight, my Manfrotto tripod, and my South Africa slide films of my family , Cape Town and the Western Cape province in them.
I wanted to be on time in Amsterdam, because I had ordered a Taxi van from Amsterdam to Arnhem. Thank god I received my luggage the next day afternoon. If I had lost that luggage it would have been a disaster. A treasure of family photo’s and slides would have been lost. The vacation had been in the same time a photo project.
Hope you guys have a good christmas in Texas and Poland.
Cheers, Pieter
