This map presents the areas with the highest share of population older than 65 (blue) and younger than 35 (orange) in #Europe in 2019. The oldest region in Europe is #Evrytania in #Greece (58% over 65). The youngest one is located in the #Asiatic part of #Turkey - #Sirnak (78% under 35). Note the anomaly in SE Poland/Slovakia directly in the Goral - Lemko - Rusyn area. At least in Slovakia this is contrary to the area reputation for having not jobs and continuing the tradition of exporting young workers looking for employment.
