I have a query ... i have someone on my family line in fact he was married to my fathers mother
The person was Polish and i am trying to establish any family connections that may be alive today the only information i have on this gentleman though is his date of birth and his name
any other information is proving hard to find.
I would ask my father but sadly he died 7 years ago and when alive he never spoke of Zigmunt much ... I have Zigmunt's last known address but according to ancestry.com he died 6months after me and my brother informed him our dad had died ... and at the time i didnt think to ask about his family its not something you would do when you tell someone their child had died
any advice?

I don't know much on reasearching geneology except doing a google and hope I win the Lottery. I did recently read on line a question similar to yours and they told the person to gather as much info as they possibly had, write it down and then start with churches, and search for anything there regarding marriages, births, etc. There is always the problem of things being misspelled and changed on paper.

To all,
Don't give up. I have been working on this for several years, and now may have a link. Don't let others make you give up. Work on this, each day, and ask over and over for help. Try all sites, and groups, someone can help.
