How this is still possible? I cannot even imagine what these people had to go through - the ones that did not survive and the ones and children who did survive.

Police work near the site after at least 18 people were found dead in Bulgaria in an abandoned truck near the capital Sofia
The truck was located near Bulgaria's capital, Sofia By George Wright BBC News Bulgarian police have made four arrests after 18 people, including a child, were found dead in an abandoned truck in Bulgaria, its government says.
The truck appeared to have been illegally transporting a group of migrants.
Thirty-four people, including five children, were rushed to hospitals and some were in a critical condition, the health minister said.
The people in the truck were cold, wet and had not eaten in days, he said.
It is believed to be the deadliest incident involving migrants in Bulgaria.
Bulgaria has long struggled to deal with large numbers of people trying to enter the European Union from Turkey.
The truck - found near the village of Lokorsko, 12 miles (20km) north-east of Bulgaria's capital, Sofia - was illegally transporting the migrants in hidden compartments in which they had suffocated, police said.
Health Minister Asen Medzhidiev described the conditions inside the truck: "There has been a lack of oxygen to those who were locked in this truck. They were freezing, wet, they have not eaten for several days."
Police believe those discovered were from Afghanistan and were being illegally smuggled to Serbia.
One of the four people arrested had already been sentenced for human trafficking, Atanas Ilkov, a senior police official, told Reuters.
Bulgaria has faced accusations it is abusing people attempting to enter from Turkey, with asylum seekers saying they have been blocked, arrested, stripped and beaten.

This is terrible, but unfortunately not something new Jaga. This is part of the larger immigration and refugee drama in the world. Europe, several EU countries, want stricter immigration and refugee measures. Europe must become a fortress and its outer borders better guarded. As a result, you will have more desperate refugees who will try to get into Europe in all sorts of ways and often die in miserable ways. From freezing to death or being attacked by bears and wolves in the border area of Europe, drowning in the Mediterranean Sea or being injured in makeshift overcrowded refugee camps in Lesbos or other islands or countries in the European border area. I remember the other drama where 39 Vietnamese people died in a Truck crossing the Channel between France and England arriving dead in the UK years ago. The tragic death of these 31 men and 8 women is part of the refugee/migration crisis in Europe. This situation in Bulgaria is not new and occurs regularly in Europe and on other continents. We live in a cruel world Jaga.en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Essex_lorry_deaths

Jaga, Ron, John, Jeanne, Karl, Ludwik and others,
Rightwing National Populism is on the rise for decades now in Europe and the leftwing parties moved to the center left, the center leftwing parties to the Center, the Center right Parties to the Right, and the far right parties even further to the Extreme Right. A Far right wave is rowling over Europe for 2 decades now and the wave isn't finnished yet. People have no compassion for refugees and migrants. European People think local, regional and national, not international.
Expressions like Überfremdung which were taboo before 2000 are normal in Europe today. Überfremdung was seen as a Nazi/Fascist expression, but is used today by Rightwing National Populist politicians in Germanic countries (Germany, Austria and the German part of Switzerland) today on political ralley's, meetings, demonstrations and publications. Überfremdung (pronounced [ˌyːbɐˈfʁɛmdʊŋ]), literally 'over-foreignization', is a German-language term used in politics to suggest an excess of immigration. The word is a nominalization compounded from über meaning 'over' or 'overly' and fremd meaning 'foreign'. Überfremdung can be linked to the Great Replacement white nationalist far-right conspiracy theory. The Great Replacement theory states that, with the complicity or cooperation of "replacist" elites, the ethnic French and white European populations at large are being demographically and culturally replaced with non-white peoples—especially from Muslim-majority countries—through mass migration, demographic growth and a drop in the birth rate of white Europeans.
Back to the Bulgaria drama, this happens when Europe is being more and more locked with strict borders. Europeans want to stop the mass infux of refugees and Turkey and Belarus push refugees into Europe, so from both sides people are pushing. Refugees, Belarus and Turkey pushing Refugees into Europa and Greece, Serbia, Croatia, Hungary, Poland and the EU pushing Refugees back to Turkey, Belarus or the Mediteranian Sea, stating 'Go back from where you came, we don't want you'.
Ukrainian refugees are welcome because they are European. The other refugees are not European but African, Middle Eastern, Afghan, Pakistani or Asian. That is the present day mindset of many European people and European administrations and political parties. Wether you like it or not that is the situation. Having that said, I want to say that we have millions of African, Middle Eastern, Afghan, Pakistani or Asian people that are Europeans today. I think that the world is doing to less to create safe zones in various conflict zones and that countries in conflict zones take in to few refugees from their own area. I am talking about Saoudi Arabia, Qatar, Iran, United Arab Emirates, Oman, Bahrein, Tunesia, Algeria, Morocco, and etc. Israel will not take in Arab refugees. That is logic because the Jewish state wants a Jewish majority and is in a demographic fight with the Israeli Arabs and Palestinians for whom will be the majority. Europe wants to stay ethnic European, Christian (for the christians) and secular humanist atheist (for the many non Christian ethnic West-Europeans and Central-Europeans - you have Czech and Polish atheists as well-) and does not want to have a growing Muslim population and in the near future large city centers or urban agglomerations dominated by Muslim migrants, because Europeans remember the ethnic and religious tensions of the past and the present. It is a vulnerable, sensitive and explosive issue. The hatred, antipathy, resentment, xenophobia, islamophobia, anti-Arabism ( en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anti-Arabism ), anti-Hijab (Muslim veil) sentiments (I Pieter have extremely anti-Veil girlfriends in the Netherlands. Very broad minded and sympathetic women, until the subject Hijab comes up. It is as if they are personally attacked. Pieter; "You have to reject the Hijab in solidarity with us. It is a backward, medieval symbol of a lesser culture." They were irritated with me, because I don't feel threatened by Muslim women who wear the Hijab. I see them daily in Arnhem, I worked with them, they were doctors assistants of my doctor, Cashiers in my supermarket, local politicians and etc. I refuse to ignore them or treat them with lesser respect than others. They are fellow citizens who happen to be Muslim. I have no problem with them. If my girlfriends -one ethnic Dutch and one ethnic secular Turkish Kurd- have problems with me, so be it. I do not have a problem with the Hijab) and ethnic racism (aversion and hatred towards people who are and look ethnic Arabic, Berber, Turkish, Kurd, Persian Iranian, Afghan and Pakistani) in Europe is growing. I will not compare it yet with the old anti-semitism from before the war, because you have no pogroms, attacks, lychings and systematic attacks on mosques and Islamic/Muslim community centers and schools yet, but there were attacks on Muslims, there were attacks on Mosques, Pig heads were thrown at entrances of mosques, Quran's (Koran's) were burnt or tore apart. I reject these burnings and tearing apart of religious books of people. I think about the book burnings in 1933 by the Nazi's instigated by Nazi propaganda minister Josef Goebbels. The German poet Heinrich Heine said; “Where they burn books, they will, in the end, burn human beings too.” (Wo sie Bücher verbrennen, verbrennen sie am Ende auch Menschen.) Christian Johann Heinrich Heine ( born Harry Heine; 13 December 1797 – 17 February 1856) predicted the future. In 1933 the nazi's burnt books and in 1942 they burnt people.
In September 2008, Muslims complained about anti-Arabism and Islamophobia in the Czech Republic. Czech Republic was well known for being the most anti-Arabist country in the whole of Europe in 2008. The Czech Republic is viewed by many people as a country with a very long and friendly relationship with Israel. The Czech Republic is now one of Israel's closest allies, frequently demonstrating strong support for Israel at the United Nations and within the European Union.

I hate this stupid idiot who burns the Quran. I dislike burning books and it is extremely dangerous due to the consequences it might have. Respect peoples faith and don't burn holy books, bit do not burn literature and poetry neither, like the Nazi's did.

Discussion between anti-Muslim activist who tore the Quran apart and a Muslim boy with Moroccan background. The Islamophobic leader of the Dutch branch of Pegida does not want to speak with the Muslim. This Mulim boy shows a remarkable restraint. He pushes back an irritated native Dutch man who dislikes the anti-Muslim activist. The irritated Dutch man says, "We are inclusive here we coexist here in Eindhoven." The Muslim boy calmes the Dutch man down before the 2 native Dutch guys get into a confrontation. The Dutch leader of Pegida provokes the Muslim boys, by saying 'Your Pedo Muslim Prophet', 'I don't see you as Dutch because you are Moroccan, I only talk with native Dutch people', and etc.

Pegida Netherlands is the Dutch branch of the German movement Pegida (Patriotische Europäer gegen die Islamisierung des Abendlandes Patriotic Europeans Against the Islamisation of the West). It had its inaugural rally on 11 October 2015 in Utrecht. Those in attendance included Lutz Bachmann, Siegfried Däbritz, and Tommy Robinson.
Pegida Netherlands is a signatory to the Prague Declaration[citation needed] and participated in the Europe-wide demonstrations on the 6th of February 2016. On 20 February 2016 Edwin Wagensveld, leader of Pegida Netherlands, was arrested for provocative behavior during a demonstration in Ede. He was in police custody for an hour. He was arrested for the second time that month on 27 February 2016 at Amsterdam city hall. He was using the Pegida logo, which shows a swastika being thrown into a trash can. The city said, "The use of swastikas will not be tolerated, even if they are included in a protest sign or other form of expression where the National Socialist ideology is rejected, or in any other manner of speech whatsoever".Pegida Netherlands leader Edwin Wagensveld speaks during a demonstration in Apeldoorn

Unlike the USA freedom of demonstration is not absolute in the Netherlands and other European nations. The authorities don't like provocations like Pig hats and etc. Edwin Wagensveld arrested for wearing a Pigs hat.
