Holly,
thanks for finding time to stop here and write us about how you feel in spite of the fact that it hurts! I really hope that this is just a scare, nothing more.

Chris (Holli)
So good that everything went OK and you are back home. I hope Wayne is looking after you well (I'm sure he is). Get fully well soon and we look forward to your postings again.
Leslie (or in Jaga-type spelling 'Lezli'!!)

Holly
It is good to see you are back. Do as the doctor say, let Wayne do his magic, and let your body heal.
It will be good to have you back, as you have been missed!

Everyone, I got the reports back from the doc yesterday. As she put it I have "garden variety cancer." Not sure if that is how I would put it but - there you go. What it means is that I have the most common and the most treatable kind of cancer. So the outlook is very good. I do have to have chemo - which I am NOT looking forward to but I might get a new hair style out of it! Trying to stay positive here. They had to take several nodes out of my arm so my one arm is pretty messed up and it is difficult to type - but I am getting all the muscles stretched out and back to what passes for normal for me! Hi Chris (Holli) Very sorry to hear that you are now part of the garden! Seriously, sorry that it is a cancer but I'm sure you will get rid of it as easily as shelling (garden) peas. As you say, the chemo will be the worst part, but when the hair grows back, all the grey will be gone and you will be a new woman!! All my VERY, VERY best to you - keep us informed how you progress.
Love
Leslie

Holly, first when I read "garden variety" I had chills. I was worrying that this means that the cancer is just.... everywhere. I was so glad to read until the very end. My mother in law has some liphatic nodes taken also. She had to use wig for some time but then, her hair grew back and they were actually curly she had them straight originally. She did not have any problems since finishing chemo. Glad to hear from you!
