More surgery - bummer
Cancer - big bummer
Chemo - don't really know to be honest, but can't be the nicest thing to undergo - bummer
Most treatable cancer - Yippee!
Stick with it, Holly! Most importantly, keep your mind bright, your attitude positive, don't let it get you down 'cause then you're sick AND down = NOT GOOD. If you keep your head screwed on right everything else will fall into place.
Things like this - all about PMA, positive mental attitude.
Best of luck with it all....
Ian

Holly, I'm sorry to hear you're in the midst of a situation presenting this unpleasant challenge to your health and comfort, but it is just that: a challenge, and challenges can and will be overcome. Take care of yourself, get lots of rest, relaxation, laughter, good food, and I know you will sail through all of this smoothly.

Thanks Suzanne for the support and encouragement (and everyone else too!) I go into the hospital for surgery round two - I hope this will be the last time ... you know what I mean not the last, last time .... My arm is slowly coming back to full use - I hope this doesn't make me start all over againwith that! I wasn't prepared to lose full range of motion in my arm like I did. Next Monday I go to see the Onocologist and the Radiologist for step two of this process.

Easier said than done. And our emotions are also supported by our family and friends. With good support there I'm sure it will help also. That is what makes each of us who we are. At least here Holly knows she has a support team routing for her.

A quick update. I am going tomorrow to meet with the radiologist and the chemo people on wednesday. So I will know more about what happens next soon. The last reports were VERY encouraging - there was NO trace of cancer in the tissues - yipee! I know that a large part of the good news I am getting is due to all the good wishes and prayers that are being offered in my behalf - I can never thank you all enough.

Chris(Holli)
You are still in our thoughts and prayers and we all have our hopes that this latest visit to the clinicia will produce nothing but good news - as the advert says 'Because you're worth it'. As you know my personal good wishes are strongly with you and will remain so. Again a big hope that the non-cancer comments are made completely positive. Our VERY, VERY, VERY best wishes are with you. Leslie - your friend from over the water.

That is good news, Holly! I hope the reports continue on the positive side and that some physical therapy brings back the motion and strength you are used to having. I didn't post a response earler, but did keep you in my thoughts.

Hollister,
I know some people in Holland that got cured from cancer, it's a long way to get through it but the therapy is sometimes the only way. I develloped a friendship with a woman from my work with breastcancer, and cancer in more places in her body (especially her head). This woman is amazing in how she coaps with her illness and her 20 years old son. She is very brave, and does whatever she can to continue her life and be optimistic but honest too about her fears, suffering and worries for her son.
Holly I am glad to hear that you have the most common and the most treatable kind of cancer, and hope that it did not spread in various places, but is concentrated in one or two places. Cancer is nearly the number one desease in the Netherlands and therefor I have heard a lot about it. My father got it in 1998, and one kidney was removed, now he has to drink a lot of water and has a sort of diet. I hope that you get the hair you want, I saw blonds return as brunettes and brunettes as blondes.
Pieter
