Holly, thanks so much, somehow I could not put in place all the information. How is Seth doing? Wayne is also a military man right? My husband father was the airforce pilot. He was in Vietnam. By the way, many military men since they travel all around the world are married to women from all over the world. I remember, when I was still a girl, I was predicted a couple of times that I would marry a military man. This surprised me a bit since my family does not have too many military people, and my hubby is not a soldier but his dad was

Seth is fine - He complains about the heat and the sand! Yes, Wayne is military - sometimes I have to remind him that I am not military - or at least at home we are of equal rank As a child of the Viet Nam era I swore I would never marry military or give my son to the military - but as my mom is found of saying - the stick you throw the furtherest is the one you have to go pick up!

- but as my mom is found of saying - the stick you throw the furtherest is the one you have to go pick up! I never heard this one before ---and I love it!! Thanks to your Mom for a good one. Might be a variation of "what goes around, comes around" but this one is clearer to my "loused mind" as Charles would say ;D Glad to hear that Seth is doing OK (and tell Wayne my compliments on the promotion I gave to him - whatever gets you back to Poland on another trip! )

the stick you throw the furtherest is the one you have to go pick up! maybe this is just like a boomerang! By the way, I heard teh theory that our choices are influenced by the choices of the parents. If your mother married a doctor it is quite probable you would also marry a doctor. If your father had alcohol problem there is quite a chance you would marry the alcoholic even if you hate it just because....you know how to deal with the problem better than the person who never had to deal with this problem. So, maybe somehow unconsciously we made the choices which seems to be distant but in reality are somehow connected with our own dreams and fears
