I have found a nice dicso polo clips on youtube.
I especially like one song which is in two versions:
Disco folk version:
Techno disco version:
Which one do you prefer? I cannot decide myself, I like both.

I think the first one, because of the lightness and the humor!

I would probably choose the first only because it seems the closest to regular Polish music but does not sound disco and the video is okay but the techno video was very very bad. I wonder if they made their own videos.

;D I am sure I would like the music very much except that I don't have broadband in my neighborhood. I tried to listen last night but, a three minute song took almost an hour to download. Verizon and ATT are the local ISP's in my neighborhood but their idea of progress is "inventing the wheel". What agony! ;D

I did my best in an internet search to find some new Polish popmusic. (that is hard for an "foreigner" who does not speak the language)
This is what I found on the net:
QDC - Always Trying To Run Away
VLAD - mysterious forest
Mroku - Dzien nie chce byc nasz
IOWA SUPER SOCCER - 10000 miles - Ep 2006
(reminds me of the ballads of the Smashing Pumpkins, because the singer sings like the leadsinger of that American band)
Warsaw/Warszawa (old fashionate song in sixtees stile)
Urszula - Luz blues, w niebie same dziury

I think it is called Warsaw a study in contrasts. It starts out in Old Town and happy music and then moves into Praga - very, very interesting.

"Ja pujdu dal". Helena Vondrackova. Sopot Festival 2006
Nice cover of this Czech singer, speaking polish to a Polish audience? I did not know that Czech music is popular in Poland too?
