There is a huge affair in Polish soccer (in Europe it is rather called futball). Many teams, some coaches and judges are involded. Some sport clubs were renegated to the lower class.
Here is a bit about one of the coach:

One of Poland's leading soccer coaches was detained by the Central Anti-corruption Bureau (CBA)
last month on accusations of active corruption and match fixing at first division club Korona Kielce, which he coached from 2002 to 2004. The detention is part of a broader investigation on corruption in Polish soccer led by the Wroc³aw prosecutor. The CBA and the Prosecutor's Office have arrested several other people related to the case.
Dariusz W has been coaching the Polonia Warszawa team since 2007. Following the accusations, he was suspended by the Polish Football Association (PZPN).
The arrest of one of the most talented people in Polish football came as a shock to the game. "He represented the young generation of coaches who had gained experience abroad and could pass it on in Poland," Andrzej Strejlau, a former coach of the Polish national team, told Gazeta Wyborcza daily. He added that the man had unofficially been considered for the coaching position at the national team.
Dariusz W earned his name in soccer as an outstanding player for Gwardia Warszawa in the early 1980s. He played for Legia Warszawa, the leading Polish club, as well as Scottish Celtic FC and English Reading FC, among others. From 1984-1992 he played 53 matches for Poland.
He debuted as a coach in the late 1990s at Polonia Warszawa, which he led to victory in the First Division Championship in 2000. He had another such victory with Legia Warszawa in 2006.
Dariusz W was employed by Krzysztof Klicki, owner of the Korona Kielce team's sponsor Kolporter, to reform the third division club, which was then on the verge of bankruptcy. He contributed significantly to Korona Kielce's advancement to the first division. Following Dariusz W's arrest, Kolporter decided to withdraw its sponsorship of the club.
