TO ALL:
We must thank Chris for her diligence in obtaining this contact person, Bless her heart, and Bless his heart {Les}. I have of recent, that of 4hours prior of this day. A E-Letter for forward to Leslie.
Leslie is our colleague, for of recent membership of Tufta would not know him, but we do.
Leslie is alone in hospital, he is suffering, he is faced with life threatening illness and I am not assured he has a room with a view. Leslie is one of us, and he is my friend.
Of the following is an extract of E-Mail return from the true friend of Leslie, that being of {Les Wheatly} I wish to share with all.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Thanks Charles, I've been to the hospital this evening. Leslie wasn't too well I'm afraid but I passed on yours and others messages and good wishes and it seemed to perk him up a bit. He's had a blood transfusion today - don't know if its that but he seems to have deteriorated since I last saw him a couple of days ago - not at all his usual sparkling self. Going again on Saturday so will keep you in touch with any developments. Thanks again Les
With Respectively Presented
Charles

Charles, Will you be kind enough to fwd this note to Les Wheatley so he may carry same on his next visit to Leslie.
My dear cyber friend,
I was so sorry to learn you are in extremis. I believe in the power of prayer, though I'm not sure whom I'm praying to, but as we say here in the States, can't hurt and may help. I will also raise a glass of Chopin for and to you. Na Zdrowie!!! Hang in there.
With much love,
Joan aka freetobe

Jim
I believe his last name is {Rae}. I have no E-Mail address for the hospital, just the hospital name Chris had up-dated me with.
As also, I have returned to my Post with some corrections in the interest of sanitizing. The primary design was to provide motivation and to those un-aware of his situation, basic information of his dire straits.

Dear Leslie. We Yanks stand with you in your difficult situation. We always do. It is my sincere wish for you to be back online with us again. Your humor is missed greatly! Eastern Europeans are an interesting lot, but not exactly Monty Python or Fry and Laurie.
It speaks well for a person to have well-wishers from all over the globe.
You sir, do. Well done.
God Bless, Tim

To All
Unfortunately, some of my dialog with Les {Wheatley} has been deleted {by my hand with out thought of others}. But I wish to share of that I have:
Dear Mr. Wheatley I have taken the liberty of share with others on the forum of Polish Culture, of your letter in regards to Leslie, I hold great trust you will not bare offense of my action. Leslie has a great many good friends on this forum and many were not aware of his plight in sickness. As a cause and effect in result, I do trust you will not be displeased with the correspondence that may well follow in addressing you as the contact person. I do respectively hope you will bear patience for the time. If perhaps you would be so kind as to hard copy the following letter from one such concerned person. She {Joan} has ask of my-self to forward this to you of that I have. I have attempted to locate an E-Mail address of the hospital for a direct contact, but with failure upon my part. If indeed so, it is problematical they may not be happy to conduct that service. I do realize this is a great imposition placed upon you. These are trying times for all for also do you have your life to live. I would enjoy to say though, you have been a blessing for a great many people with what you are doing. Leslie is very blessed with such a caring and thought-full friend he has in you. Thank you so very much Charles

It really isn't any trouble to me to pass on any messages. I doubt very much if the hospital will offer any help with passing on e-mails sent to them. Thanks - I will try and keep you in touch. Les
As faithfully submitted
