James,
thanks for sharing the interview. I need to write about it in the next newsletter! Where was it? Which station had the interview with you?
I was surprised to hear that you do not have a Polish origin. I thought that you are a Polish-American.

Hi, Jaga, I'm Irish and Norwegian, but after working on my books for 25 years I certainly feel like an honorary Pole. The interview was conducted in Milwaukee on their local station. I was prepared to talk for 20 minutes, but when I got there they sid my segment was to be 4 minutes. I didn't even get to say that PUSH NOT THE RIVER has been optioned for film! Please keep your fingers crossed! Your site is looking great! But I would like to know how I got the site name "chickadee'~? best, Jim www.JamesCMartin.com

Jim, frankly, I did not realize that you do not have any Polish origin and then... you know so much about Polish history and tradition. I have more appreciation to ou than ever before! Did you ever try to write something related to the history of the countries of your origin like Ireland or Norway? Any Wiking-types of stories? By the way. The early Polish kings were related to Vikings at least through marriages. did you know the story of Swietoslawa (Sigrid the Haughty): Swietoslawa - Piast Princess & Viking's Queen culture.polishsite.us/articles/art262.html
