Jaga Thank you for sharing Photography is such a wonderful tool of a medium. For it is so flexible and with the currant advent of new technology, there is little even for a novice, that is not possible. As an example, so long in past, it was not un-common through the knowledge of light. To soften the features in photographic reproduction of a ladies face. A bit of window bug screen would be placed in-front of the camera lens. This would break up the direct lighting in a manner that softens her features. Or, whilst in the field, un-availability of a proper lens filter or for long range imaging for photocapture. It was not un-common for a person to simply place their sun-glasses in-front of the camera lens for photo-capture. Or for lack of proper tele-photo lens, to use one side of binoculars for that close up. Now, it is just a matter of for that special photo-exposure, to switch of the auto=focus to manual. For art end of photography, yes, for may depend upon that special perfection of clear weather and perfect conditions. This works very well for fashion and/or illustrative photo-rendition, but, it has not the character of imperfect weather and/or conditions. Personally, it is my belief that many are consumed with the fear of making mistakes and just not taking the shot. For with out mistakes, there may not be the luxury of learning. I think perhaps there will lay the foundation of the laws of light and shadow not so readily understood by some. For most all objects we capture with our vision, is reflected light. Karl

Thanks for the url..the pictures are awesome! Texas is a place that has beautiful skies-not only at sunset but also sunrises. Not to mention the ever changing storm clouds. My daughter and I used to sit in a car on one of the tallest hills in town and watch storms move into the county. It was awesome to watch the many layers of clouds build, watch wall clouds form and dip down (creating vortexes) watch the hail come down...green skies....
