Hi Jaga, I just read your Email, and I thought that it would be nice to visit again. Yes, it has been awhile since I last visited.. But if you recall, I was never one to dwell into politics..Although you have a lot of very informed people on here, I am not one of them. I still remain a small time Polish honky. This is the way that I prefer it. But I will visit from time to time.
As for my personal life, I feel better than I ever felt in the last twenty years. I feel great.. The doctor told me that I have the health of a sixty yr old man. You mentioned hurricanes. We have remained untouched by any this year. (Thank God).
Now you mentioned St Stanislaus church. Jaga, that is my church. It is located a 1/4 of a mile from the port of debarkation for European Immigrants.. St Stans was built by the toil and money from Polish Immigrants..This area is known as FELLS POINT, a predominantly Polish enclave. The young Poles from the first generation moved into the suburbs after WW2. They went to college under the GI bill and prospered ( Not me )
Since the amount of Polish Immigrants dwindled. the Archdioces decided to sell the church for 16 million dollars.. There was a huge outcry from the parishoners and I lost any knowledge of the present situation.
I am going to send you something via Email, explaining the whole story.. It is too much for the Forum, But knowing you, it will be of great interest.. I will try to get it out tonight.
Spi sie zbogem moja mala Jagoda.. Franus

Hi Franek,
I am so glad you responded. I did not know this church but it is so good to hear that it would be saved. I did not realize that you lived in this area!
Whenever I hear about St. Stanislaus church in America I think about Polish-Americans, since almost all churches dedicated to St. Stanislaus are Polonia churches.
Yes, we talk too much about politics, therefore we need somebody like you to put us back into the Polish topics!
Come more often!
