Don't you think that kids have a better way with art than the adults? I really love Ela's pictures These are the newest from her collection: and here it is me (Ela's mom):

Don't you think that kids have a better way with art than the adults? If this isn't a real story, it should be! Appreciate Ela's work, but check it before she goes to school ... This was a homework drawing assignment turned in by a little girl to her teacher. (Here's a note the teacher received the following day) Dear Mrs. Jones, I wish to clarify that I am not now, nor have I ever been, an exotic dancer. I work at Home Depot and I told my daughter how hectic it was last week before the blizzard hit. I told her we sold out every single shovel we had, and then I found one more in the back room, and that several people were fighting over who would get it. Her picture doesn't show me dancing around a pole. It's supposed to depict me selling the last snow shovel we had at Home Depot. From now on I will remember to check her homework more thoroughly before she turns it in. Sincerely, Mrs. Smith

Jaga as a pole dancer! Well that's a new one! I'm sure Ela does not understand that concept!

Frankly when I saw this picture I did not think about exotic dancer but a broom, but I did not understand what the kids keep in their hands I thought they have their notebooks, but I guess these are green dollars for shovels

Jaga,
I am going to need your help soon. In believing that this is a shovel, not a pole dancing accessory, this mornings papers are warning of a heavy snowfall coming over from America. Please bring your shovel to help with the clear up. Newcastle International Airport is only 20 minutes drive away.

Jaga,
For once, press reports were accurate; it is now snowing heavily.

Jaga Thank you for your very nice sharing It is a very good idea of attention paid to your children as you do. For they draw the perception they hold of their world they live in. What you see, is their impression of that of which they see. No comparison, but only of a bit of thought. Remember of Anthropology studies of {Cave Art}? The early people recording of their view of the world around them in their paintings? Ela has a healthy out look of her world as seen through her eyes, and she loves her mother Thank you again for sharing... Karl

Karl,
I have to agree. I like the smile that Ela sees on her mother's face! The art works says a lot, I believe, and all of it positive.
The artwork I added happened to come in an email to me at the same time, by coincidence. I was struck by the similarities in pastels of the drawings and hope everyone takes it in good humor!

Guys, thanks for your interest with Ela's pictures. I believe that they are really sweet. I am not that sure that this picture with a woman it is really me first of all Ela did it in the daycare. Second of all - this girl is dressed in a very fashionable outfit for a young woman and she is even showing her belly button, which you discuss in another thread. So I believe that this is probably not me but Ela wanted to be nice and states that this is me. I never walk around the house dressed like that

Ela is a very good organized person and you can see, she is learning from Polish elementarz. This was her schedule for Tuesday evening. She did it all by herself. I never asked her to do anything like that. I am not that good organized. It must be the German 50% blood in Ela :
