Jeepers Pieter
And of this day, I was so free and happy, but of this {frühjahr} of 1945 with the soviet invasion of Berlin. I was to think, and this is not so good. For as a little fellow, non-the-less, is part and partial of the down fall of my country for this brings to my self, a responsibility by default of guilt of the crimes of our former government.
I am a Teuton fighter, but only to the extent of my capabilities. For by the sword of my ancestors, shall I live, and to their downfall, shall I die. For this is our oath.
This sounds so ridicules of today in present, that our ancestors were to utter such non-sense. But, once in while, whilst sensing nothing within my presence. These thoughts do arise to my mind. For what other reason of presence would be that I am alive, and those of more reason to be, are in their death?
I think too much and reason too little, for the in-between, may perhaps the truth be known, or perhaps not be told..
