Well Jaga,
I agree with you but this song was recorded in the 1960's and so it's older than you. I remember it from when I was still at school! The old ones are the best.

;D ;D For Christmas I received The Complete Vanguard Studio Recordings of "Ian & Sylvia". This couple made balleds and folk music during the 60's and early 70's They are Canadian but I have liked their music for many years. Now I have all the songs and it was a wonderful Christmas Present. Thank you Canada for the great pair and their music. ;D ;D ;D

I have always found great solice in this song. It reminds me that life is temporal and the end is not the end. (I believe) I lost my little sweet p this March and my Mom this July. It reminds me to celebrate peoples lives and the hope of someday "going home"

Thanks Dawn, Maybe I should clarify that Sweet p was my sweet little doggie of 13 years. I held her in my arms as she went to sleep.

I held her in my arms as she went to sleep. a loss is the same with a pet. obviously you loved her. sometimes our pets are our closest companions. its the same with my jj. my senegal parrot talks. and when i am home it takes her less than a minute to find me and she's either on my shoulder or lap, like she is right now.
