These are so called 'dudy" in Polish Yes, and I know it as doodle sack in slovak. but checking the dictionary it is properly a gajdy in Slovak, and doodle sack must be English, as in bag pipe. A google search also reveals doodle sack has a variety of obscene vulgar meanings in various languages ... so I will be careful how and where I use the term from now on! Kai |
