Vaclav Klaus, the Czech President, is expected to ratify the EU Lisbon Treaty after his country's constitutional court cleared the final legal obstacle standing in its way.

Mr Klaus is the last head of state not to sign the Treaty and remains the final barrier to it entering into legal force across the European Union's 27 countries.
He has signalled that he will put pen to paper after getting a British-style opt-out to the Charter of Fundamental Rights at an EU summit in Brussels last week
