Jaga, Those were probably Poles who have worked in the Netherlands or or other liberal Europeanvcountries where softdrugs are legalised. I have seen Poles smoking joints, and enteringvcoffeeshops. Originally Canabis or marijuana came from Marocco or Afghanistan and reached Western-Europevvia smuggling routes that came from Spain. Later in the later sixtees and early seventees thevDutch began to develop and grow their own Canabis. And the present Dutch weed is much strongervthan the original Afghan or Maroccan or Asian Canabis, due to nurturing and new fertilizer. The Tetrahydrocannabinol or THC in Modern Weed or Hashis is much stronger than those in thevsixtees and seventees. In the Netherlands local and national authorities are worried about thevuse of weed and hashis amongst the youth, due to crime and addiction problems.vBy excessive use of Canabis youth can get memory loss, lack of concentration and the effectsvcan have an negative impact on studying, school results and discipline and aims in daily lifevand future planning of young people. I have the idea that some politicians are fed up by the old liberal legislation and that theyvwant tougher laws, closures of coffeeshops that delive weed and hashis legally and by that protect Dutch youth and avoid the influx of (soft) drugs tourism. Large amounts of French, Belgian, Britis, German, Italian and other foreign visitors come to the Netherlands due to the liberal legistlation on soft drugs (Canabis and Paddo's). www.youtube.com/profile?user=AmsterdamFromAToM&annotation_id=annotation_727480&feature=ivPieter
