{quote author=piwo board=news thread=1154040196 post=1154557005]as for content of posts, I find it an interesting topic and worthy of discussion. I've no problem learning of treatment of German POW's, Russian, USA, Japan, or any other. It's just history. Perhaps another forum should be considered for posts dealing with discussions of "non-Polish" history, perhaps not since it's all tied into a single event: World War ll.
There are examples in that nightmare of chivalry, kindness, compassion, resolve, treachery, butchery and betrayal by all who participated. Some went beyond even that with medical experiments and outright Occult type savagery... but it is, in the end , just history. It happened, and if discussed without rancor, finger pointing and acrimony, I've no problem with it at all. }

A perfectly logical assertion of which I may not find fault with. For as the title of the forum is,"Polish Culture site". Which in self, is self explanatorie, yes.
The title as self, refects that of and of Polish people and their roots with all that is inself, Polish. And as you have stated and implied, all other subjects of history, is what it is, simply that, history. Whilst history of the war, should be more appropriatly placed withen the confines of a forum dedicated to this typen of history.
For it is my shared desire that the subjects of the war should be laid to rest. For it is not benifical of today, to bring up repeataly, the history of well over 60 years past. Let it molder in the grave that it has well deserved and dug.
I would like to share with you, a saying {we have a saying for every thing}
From my Prussian family history: A Prussian saying {In the German,as I have forgotten old Prussian}
Für warren wir stehen heute, andere sind gefallen, um dieses zu ermöglichen.
{For where we stand today, others have fallen to make this possible}.
