Disclaimer: This is not particularly Polish or Pop and the song is one of those that gets into your brain and won't get out but....
This song will always remind me of Gdansk. Why? because the cable TV system into the hotel was accidentally cut and so we could only get one channel - that was okay but it seemed that every time we flipped on the TV this video was on - so it grew on me.

Thanks, Holly, I liked the explanations and links to Finnish folk tradition better than the anime version How could I have forgotten Mos Eisley Cantina? I will have to check - now I think they were singing that Finnish song in some SW scene.
