JAGA RECOMMENDS
I recommend " The Uprooted - about fates of Poles in WW II”, by William B. Makowski. It is an amazing book about the fate of Polish family who lived in Eastern part of Poland. It describes its faith through the Soviet occupation and Soviet lager (camp), then the travel with Polish Anders army away from Soviet Union down to Iran and the Middle East.
Here is more information about the book, its website and how to buy it.
