Cold, Snow To Hit Europe Next Week Oct 16, 2010; 4:17 AM ET Share | The Arctic will open up nice this coming week across central and eastern Europe. This will start along a wave of energy diving southward from the North Sea and continue southward into the end of the week. This will make its first appearance in the United Kingdom and Scandinavia on Monday night into Tuesday, then shift into Poland and northern Italy during the day on Wednesday, eventually reaching the Balkans and Ukraine on Wednesday. There will be some wintry showers over the United Kingdom and some snow showers will also develop through Scandinavia. One of the better hit regions could be the Alps with low pressure developing just to the south of the region. This would gather moisture from the Mediterranean and overrun the colder air in the Alps and lead to decent snowfall (maybe more than 6 inches). This air mass will likely hold position through next weekend and possibly early next week. We'll have to watch for potential storm development which, in turn, could lead to an early season snowstorm.

Don't worry I am not asking you to massage my body.

Wow, I am feeling better and up to chat with you all. Boy, it is awfully dark in morning and evening. Which meant it is time for us to move back our clock next week. Now Weatherman are talking about snow in other states. Maybe we will have snow soon. Oh Dear!
