My name is Dimitri Wallick. Butch is the preferred shortcut. I have been searching my ancestry back to the Lemko region and have recently determined that my maternal grandmother my have roots to Kotan'. Her maiden name was Mary (Marina) Parylo. I do know that she married Paul Krasko in Olyphant, Pa in 1912. I was told that her parents names were James and Anna. These were probably changed as was my surname. All of my ancestors came from towns now in Poland. All it appears except for my maternal grandfather from Lemko villages. He came from a village that was part of the Russian Empire when he emigrated.

Lemko seems to be the majority background of my ancestors. My mothers dad came from Grabowitz, which at that time was part of the Russian Empire. My paternal grandfather came from Bortne, now Bartne, and my paternal grandmothers parents came from Losie. One from each of the Losie's.
