The elephant is indeed cute! I have made a few of the washcloth rabbits. These are cute for Easter especially when they are made in pink, light blue and mint green colors and of course white. The loop created by the washcloth-you can place a colored Easter egg in it.
Materials Needed:
White washcloth-the thinner kind work best one rubber band 2 googly/wiggly eyes 1 pink puff ball(pom pom) and 1 button-small pink-with two holes in it Glue gun 12 inches of ribbon in desired color Scissors
Directions:
1. Remove the tag on the washcloth with scissors.
2. Place the washcloth on a table so that it looks like a diamond.
3. Roll the corner closest to you to the middle.
4. Roll the opposite corner into the middle.
5. Pick up the washcloth and fold it in half so that you have two ears. Approx. 3" down, wrap a rubber band around the washcloth.
6. Pull and shape until it looks like a rabbit's head with ears. To stabilize the head, glue a small part of the back of the head to the washcloth body.
7. Tie the ribbon with bow over the rubber band.
8. Glue on the two googly eyes.
11. Glue on the pink puffball on the back end of the washcloth for the tail. Glue on a small button on the face for the nose.
