Thank you all so much! I started the day with All Souls Day mass / eucharist; traveld wto Springfield with husband for some business he had; had a wonderful lunch at our favorite "German" restaurant which I am told has Polish cooks; took the long way home through the wonderful New England countryside; put in our Thursday evening volunteer commitment at our local library; talked with friends (virtual as well as in person!) and had an absolutely wonderful day! ;D Nancy, thank you for the delicious looking birthday cake! No cake for me today, but I did indulge in an extra large piece (the waitress was extra nice, I think) of apple cobbler from the restaurant. We took our pieces home and ate them after our library work! GM

BTW, why is this thread in "food and drink" section? I guess GM is neither food nor drink Ahh... but that is the secret! GM was sure to be looking here, and it IS quite appropriate! She gardens, she cooks, she writes and I'll bet that if we ask Mr. GM, she is Kai PS Happy Birthday, GM!

Thank you all! And Kai...I really don't know what Mr. GM's assessment might be...but I have the feeling he is happy to have me around And Jaga correctly knew that when I am short on time or my internet connection is acting up, the Food and Drink section is the first and sometimes only place I get to read... Again...thanks to all... GM
