I am not sure what we would be eating. We will have here my husband's sister with the family from Texas so probably we will have BBQ!
Do you have any other suggestions? What are the typical choices for BBQ?

Homemade potatoe salad, macaroni salad and green salad of course.

While corona is not one of my favorite beers, the food certainly looks as good as it gets. It is great to see traditional American food so well represented.
Kai My apologies to Mike and anyone else who may have been offended at my initial comment that focused on the Corona beer.
Have a happy holiday. We are having sunshine and record temperatures in southern Alaska!

We have rain and it seems that the rain would last for the nearest future here! But Poles have also rain in Krakow and all through the pope visit!
It is also quite cold here - we have just barely up to 50 F, we will have John's sister and family from Texas, I hope they would take some sweaters with them, not only shorts and short sleeves!

YUM! _Thanks Mike for the picture - People down here in Florida take their BBQ really seriously - but I can't seem to used to what they call BBQ. It is MUCH sweeter than what I am used to from home. Mike's BBQ looks like the good stuff!

Excellent pic of Mikey B's dishes. Dos XX's amber was always my favorite mexican beer... but I'll never, ever drink another again.
Delicious looking food Mikey B!

Jaga, Both piwa i the picture are very good: Dos XX Amber and Modela Negro. I take it Mikey B. likes the "mocny" beers as they are both dark beers, but not bitter like many darker bears. If you like full flavor without a real "bitter" finish, either of these two fine beers would do fine.
As for our cooking, we've done none at all, except my wife made a wonderful eggplant parmisiano on Friday night. We went out Saturday after my youngest graduated from High school, and we went to the local "Greek Festival" and ate some wonderful food there. We're going to BBQ this evening, soooo, NO COOKING for us!
Heading to Salem New Hampsire tomorrow for two days business, but not many good resturaunts in that town: well, that I could find anyway, but it's been a few years.
