Kremowka...a custard-like filling between sheets of very fine pastry. Someone, this summer, told me the name and the fact that this was JP-II's favorite as we ate slices of it. Watching the movie, my husband said it looked 'yummy'...I said I'd make him some...but not until after Christmas

Well...that's the way life goes As my grandmother and mother after her used to say: It's no one's fault but the cook's if she starves!BTW, I loved the way the directors "snuck" in little bits and pieces of the Pope's life like his love of kremowka !

Well...if I ever get back to the kitchen again It is very hard for me to keep away from "goodies" now that Lent has started. I really am a grazer but now have to content my self with grazing on fruit! GM
