I ran across this quite some time back, years, I cannot say how many. It struck me as strange - unusual, let us say, that Latvians would be #1 in the center of whatever they are setting out to prove. Then I went to the web site for the graphic, truncated it and came to www.lexiline.com/lexiline/and read a bit and the author's name - Andis Kaulins. Quite a typical Latvian name! Is that a surprise? In his writeup on www.lexiline.com/lexiline/ he states "The maker of LexiLine, a law school graduate, has been arguing for as long as he can remember that the study of man's history should be EVIDENCE-BASED and NOT "authority-based". It seems he is referring to himself as :the maker of Lexiliine". So we should accept his evidence based opinions, neglecting perhaps that he is a lawyer, and lawyers are hired to present one side of an argument... and we should presumably presume he is quite objective, as a Latvian, placing Latvia in the center of his language theory.... It is further interesting that he sets out, presumably, new evidence and theories on a gridwork of topics 5 x 37, that is 185 diverse topics upon which he presents his expert opinions! That is quite impressive. But to the blood of the matter ... I find it quite comforting that he states "The AB blood group is entirely missing - only HUMANS have it. ... There is NO blood type AB in either of the man-apes." So I have no ape close to me, but by DNA (by another source) I have the European average of 2.7% Neanderthal. It is interesting that we denigrated the poor Neanderthal for 150 years or so, spent 150 subsequent years slaughtering each other wholesale and brutally, throughout the whole of the 20th Century, and now that we discover that We are They, They have suddenly become quite respectable. This is complicated by the fact that we (in the USA) are taught to look down upon the Black African, and it is the Black African who has NO Neanderthal!!! Oh my, the complications we encounter in our values systems!!! However, what share of our DNA do we have in both Ape and Man? 97%? 99%? Quite a bit in any case. This is enough to drive one Bananas!
