Poles feels already at home in GB, now it is a time for Bulgarians and Romanians to flood Brits! www.washingtonpost.com/world/europe/british-welcome-of-immigrants-wears-thin/2014/01/07/25f2b560-7568-11e3-bc6b-712d770c3715_story.html?hpid=z1Entire villages in Bulgaria had emptied out. Buses packed with Romanian beggars and criminals were on their way. The new year brought an end to restrictions on immigration from two of Europe’s poorest nations to one of its wealthiest, and to hear British politicians and commentators tell it, the whole island could be at risk of sinking from the strain. Days into 2014, the evidence of an influx is sparse. Handfuls of new migrants have blinked into the glare of television cameras at London’s airports and wondered why all the fuss. But the panic over the easing of immigration rules has revealed much about hardening attitudes in a country that has begun to consider yanking the welcome mat after decades as one of the world’s more accommodating and generous destinations for newcomers. Whether legal or illegal, whether working or not, immigrants are getting the cold shoulder from Brits. Even with the economy here showing signs of revival after years of recession, the backlash appears to only be growing as the country becomes more internationalized. “Four million net migrants in the last 13 years to Britain represents an astonishing social change, and one that people simply don’t want,” said Nigel Farage, leader of the U.K. Independence Party (UKIP). .. The government has declined to estimate how many Bulgarians and Romanians will ultimately come ashore, fearing a reprise of the mistake the Labor government made in 2004, when it badly underestimated the effect on immigration from the E.U.’s expansion into Eastern Europe. Hundreds of thousands of Poles and others ultimately poured in.

It is the same story as the Netherlands, Belgium, France and Germany Jaga. I already wrote enough about it. It is not an easy subject!

Yes, as Pieter has also forementioned, both of us have previously posted considerable of this stye in the eye of these Bulgarian and Romanian immigrants and their problems they create.
Of course amongst them, are honest family people trying to make their way to raise their families as best they can. But, whilst this is so, a vast number are simply just gutter trash. It would not suprise me if as it continues with these people, goverments of each respective affected state, will be forced to take action of expulsion of these people out of each respective state. For the common good are very resilent, but enough is enough until they take matters in to their own hands.
The folks of authority in Brussels have have opened up the flood gates of dirty water against us and they needs be to take care of their dirty laundry, not us.

Romania and BulgariaThe Bulgarian capital SofiaRomania and Bulgaria should be transformed into real democracies. Corruption, fraud and nepotism hurts a democratic constitution and society. Romania's entry into the European Union in 2007 has been a significant influence on its domestic policy. As part of the process, the country has instituted reforms including judicial reform, increased judicial cooperation with other member states, and measures to combat corruption. Nevertheless, in 2013 Brussels report, Romania was described as the 9th most corrupt country in the EU (after Slovenia, Croatia, Greece, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Portugal, Hungary and Spain). The Bulgarian government resigned on 20 February 2013 after nationwide protests caused by high costs of utilities, low living standards and the failure of the democratic system. The protest wave was marked by self-immolations, spontaneous demonstrations and a strong sentiment against political parties. Bulgaria is one of the most corrupt European Union members and ranks 75th in the Corruption Perceptions Index. Weak law enforcement and overall low capacity of civil service remain as challenges in curbing corruption. However, fighting against corruption has become the focus of the government because of the EU accession, and several anti-corruption programs have been undertaken by different government agencies. Bulgarians demonstrate against corruption in SofiaProtesters march on a boulevard during a demonstration in central Sofia March 3, 2013. Tens of thousands protested in more than a dozen cities across Bulgaria, in demonstration against poverty and political system when the Balkan state marked the 135th anniversary of its liberation from the Ottoman rule.Romania and Bulgaria have great economical opportunities. Their labour is cheaper than many other countries in Western-, Central-, North- and Southern-Europe. Due to their previous oldfashionate communist and post-communist industries they can set up new industries, new companies and thus new economies. Few people know that there are large Italian, French and German investments in Romania. Both Romania and Bulgaria border the Black Sea. And the Black Sea is a major future tourist destination. An alternative for European tourists who go to the Mediterranean Sea countries. (Spain, Portugal, Southern-France, Italy, Turkey and Greece) If they manage to conquer corruption, fraud and crime in their own country and invest in the infrastructure to ease transport of goods and people to their countries, they have a bright future. They are inbetween Turkey/Greece in the South, Ukraine and Russia in the east and Hungary, Austria, Switzerland and Germany in the West. CTBH is developed right in the heart of the business district of Bucharest, on the rooftop of Crystal Tower building, located on 48, Iancu Hunedoara Bvld, district 1.Look what has happened in Poland and the Czech republic. These countries have become modern Western countries, but kept their Western-Slav and Central-European identities. The Bulgarians have to look into their agriculture (food industry), their companies and business firms and look at the niche markets they could invent. They have to come with inventive solutions, new products, new economical projects. Wasn't there a Romanian car. Couldn't that car manufacturer focus on new electric or hybrid cars. The Romanian and Bulgarian governments should invest in Research & development, education, tax reforms and a good investment climate in their countries. By fighting corruption and thus less corruption and less bureaucratic boundaries you get more foreign investors. And foreign investors and joint ventures is what the Bulgarian and Romanian economies need. It is up to the Bulgarian and Romanian politicians and voters to do something about that. Bucharest university squareWe can't stop Eastern-European immigration, but we could do something about the countries they come from via diplomacy, bilateral and multilateral negociations and influence via the Western-European governments and the European Union. Further reforms are necessary. We must be strict, open, direct and fair to them. Mass immigration is no solution for us nor for them. A large migration of workforce from these countries harms the economies and the markets of Romania and Bulgaria. It is in the interest of these two Eastern-European countries to keep their own workers for their own new innovative industries. The Italian, French and German investments in Romania will continue. And who knows maybe in the near future Romania will merge with Moldova, a country with a Romanian speaking population. Business park SofiaBusiness park SofiaCheers, Pieter P.S.- Most people feel at home in their own country (Bulgaria/Romania), with their own culture, language and people. Economical immigrants don't go to other countries, because that is their first choice. They want to stay in their country. But unemployment, poverty or lack of carreer opportuntities or to low wages drive them to other countries in the West. (Western-Europe) It is is not nice to be a second class citizen abroad (being a guest worker/immigrant.)
