Holly thank you so much in sharing the fotos. Excellent. I don't know mucha bout Georgia but think it is part of Russia. I loved the colors, the architecture and shots in general. It reminds me a bit of Russian, Byzanztine, Turkish, and Moorish. Many in one and I'm sure they all had a connection. Now to look up the city.
What brought Wayne to this place. Was it his job or as a tourist.

Chris,
beautiful pictures, almost too nice! In Pocatello University there is a cooperation program with Tbilisi, Georgia. People travel back and forth but... they did not bring such beautiful pictures with them back! Georgia is still unstable, from time to time it is in news.

Wayne was there for work - just before it was bombed! I too was captivated by the various styles - Wayne said the city was interesting - it must have been very beautiful at one time - there have obviously been some very hard times - but the country and the city are trying so hard to come back.
