It has been some time since last post from Eric has been given on the forum. Has any one heard from his perhaps as a private message or such? My self have created this thread in concern for him in response to his long absence.
If perhaps this would violate a sacred exchange between him and a member, then please ignore my concern.

Thank you Jaga, for now I do feel better for Eric, with his absence was to bring up concerns for him. He lives alone and with this, very vulnerable to accidents or what ever.
I am happy for you in your travels, is Idaho very rugged with forest and mountains? Here has been a continual bit of storm then sun breaks with more storms out of the mountains.
This is a deep valley as if cut in between mountains and forest. With these storms, is always the possibility of delayed flash floods that will with a vengeance appear down river over some low bridges. If the flood waters have brought down trees, these then will pile up against a bridge support and begin to back up the high water until the supports weaken and break loose. The stricken bridge once with out the supports, will then break loose and become swept away.
With the above, until almost too late, notice will be given to stay off a bridge that is vulnerable to high water. It is difficult for the authorities to be exact in predictions of direction of down stream damage, but fairly close if the storms develop on one side of the alley or other in locale centre. This then will be the centre of maximum rain fall/down stream drainage the simple map check will pin point possible direction of down stream flow.
