Nancy Many thanks for all the links to the cam sites - I watched the eagle one this morning 0918h BST and the movement of the eagle sitting on the eggs was wonderful. The german stork one was interesting too but I prefer the movement ones rather than changing stills. Any more? Well perhaps not or I'll get nothing done all day!! Leslie

The eagle cam is really cool - I too like the live video! and the sound effects - Yikes, I tuned in this morning and Mama was "vocalizing" .... But here are some screen shots of the two birds changing position to guard their eggs: www.infotecbsi.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=18

Sometimes she just squawks, at other times she barks almost like a dog - I think this is when she wants her mate to come back and change shift!

sad news from the eagles cam - neither egg hatched, so no baby eaglets at that nest. The nest in Maine has triplets.++++ I sure am learning a lot about eagles, though! hope the storks have better luck. ++++ well, it did. Now it has only two. I am not going to tell the story here.
