Chris - sorry I just can't help it! What a pity you had to be brought up in a field and one on a hillside at that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Leslie (I was fortunate I was brought up in a house, or it may have been a cardboard box!) ;D

Hollie What a beautiful photo! Appears to be the wheat lands of the Big Bend country or that of Columbia Basin, or the Pasco/Richland/Kenniwick area. It was some years past, I was in the Ritzville, Washtuckna area on a situation. Was just lost most of the time, thank goodness some one else was driving. I do remember the openness to such an extent it was almost frightening. Out side of the auto looking across the rolling hills, with the breeze and total silence, it gave the senses a lost feeling of loneliness. The few people I actually met contained the qualities of quite strength, approachable, but reserved. Would this be close to that of Colfax? Or is this even close? Charles

Herr Bescheid Don't tell me that you have lost your sense of humour! Or perhaps as a Teuton you never had one!!! (Only joking Charles!) I admire the German sense of humour - when I can understand it! (sorry, only joking again). Obergruppenfuhrer Leslie
