January 26, 2015 Misty Morning Fog Photograph by Malgorzata Walkowska, National Geographic Your Shot “This beautiful pond is actually not too far from my home” in Poland, says Your Shot member Malgorzata Walkowska, who came across this scene while taking a shortcut home one December morning. "I really loved how it was surrounded by very old trees that reflect in the still water, especially on foggy mornings. Since I discovered this unusual place, I like to go back during different light and weather conditions and photograph it."

What a wonderful black and white image. It looks like a photographic, photoshop trick, but it is probably real!

J.J.
What a wonderful photograph you have presented. For it has obvious qualities of a fine photo with professional qualities created with skill.
But with the above, is to the viewer such as my self it contains a further content that is to the minds eye of further virtues. This would be in the aura of parapsychology as mystic with the mist over water hiding enough only as a key for exploration of further discovery.
In the minds eye, the mystery is not to the subconscious mind, but to the conscious. For then would emagination take presidence over the sense of reality into the world of what is emagined.
I think perhaps it is the manner of our maturation from birth to death, some parts of our self do not mature beyond our time as a youth.

John, beautiful picture, beautiful moment - when the fog was rising and also a very high resolution and black-white colors make a difference!
