Different publishers try to send me books related to Poland.... and I do not always feel I can read it. If any of you would volunteer, I can send your address to the publisher and they would send you a free book:
Zamora Texts:
The Year 9000
by B.W. Wojciechowski
PRESS RELEASE:
Fascinating and thought-provoking foundation volume of a compilation of
essays by a Polish-born Chemical Engineering professor, offers eye-opening
predictions on what the world might look like from the perspective of 7000 years
hence.
“Our civilization is still in transit from a perilous bygone past to an
inconceivably fascinating future.”
A lecturer in the year 9000 CE looks back over and analyses 14,000 years of human
progress spanning the development of our ancestors and ourselves, and looking at
the development of our descendants. With Zamora Texts: The Year 9000, B.W.
Wojciechowski presents the lectures of Professor Yelita speaking in the year 9000 as
he observes our social, political, military, scientific, technological and space-travel
progress through history. The lecturer believes that all the powerful societies from our past and present collapsed because of
internal social decay, and he reports on an apocalyptic period of regression, when our modern democracies will collapse,
leading to a 500-year period of war and chaos. He also reports that, by the year 9000, humanity will have evolved distinct new
races on the Moon and Mars, and has begun to disperse beyond the solar system into the galaxy. Human societies will be
peaceful and will continue to advance. Science will make possible near-luminal space travel and, among others things, climate
control and clean free limitless energy.
Born in Poland, Wojciechowski, along with his mother and grandparents, spent a year in a forced-labor camp in the Soviet
Union, eventually escaping to Scotland at the tender age of eight. His traumatic childhood and family history gave him first-hand
knowledge of the unchecked power and discontent pervading current societies, which has influenced his writing, offering deep
insights and encouraging him to write this fascinating and profound series. Zamora Texts: The Year 9000 will challenge the
reader to consider what the future holds for humanity, our societies and our capabilities. Professor Yelita relates that we will
survive the hostilities and ideological divisions of today because we are on an undeniable quest to improve ourselves and our
understanding of everything.
In this fifth book of the series, Wojciechowski highlights his strongly held belief that world leaders up to our times waste time
trying to solve social problems by treating each in isolation, without objectivity, and without taking into consideration the
interconnections, physical realities, and other constraints in any particular case. Zamora Texts: The Year 9000 offers readers a
fresh perspective on social structures and ideas, to ponder where the solutions to the social disarray of today’s democracies
may lie, and to challenge those individuals who care about the survival of humanity and the futures of government and
technology.
About the author: Bohdan W. Wojciechowski was born in Wilno, Poland (now Vilnius, Lithuania) in 1935 and migrated to
Scotland as a child, before moving to Canada and earning his PhD in Chemistry. After working in the petroleum industry in the
United States, he returned to Canada and taught Chemical Engineering at Queen’s University for more than 30 years, publishing
over 170 refereed papers in the field of hydrocarbon reactions and more. His professional and private travels have taken him to
over forty countries. Zamora Texts: The Year 9000 (published by Amazon Digital Services, ebook only, RRP $12.99, free with
KindleUnlimited) is available online at Amazon.com.
