Hi guys I have mentioned my visit this past week to my daughter who lives near High Wycombe - in the south of England, not too far from London. I have one or two photos of Windsor Castle - one of the castle/palaces that the Queen visits frequently. I'll put these on my Webshots when I have time. In the meantime, here are two shots of my daughter from my first marriage. Leslie

Thank you for your thoughtfulness in sharing of your family. Your daughter is a very lovely lady and I am very confident, she carries in her self, all that we admire of you...
You are a proud parent, and rightly so, it shows through in your photos of the closeness, love of family and caring.
All the separate little things that once placed together, makes up a whole, and you have done this with parental love.
You are a successful man Leslie, let no one say other wise!
Charles

Nice memories of Windsor there, Leslie. The McDonalds to the right of shot 1129 was one of my first projects as a project manager for them, many moons ago.

Windsor....at first I didn't connect till I saw your album and realized it was the Queens home. Do they let you go inside through the gates. Is part of it open to the public. What is the story behind the Crooked House. Love the photo ...reminds me of Oliver Twist. So quaint. I wish our streets looked half as good. No.....we must look at run down buildings, litter and garbage in the streets here.

Chris (Rdy..) Windsor is one beautiful place and there are some super restaurants and cafes. Yes, you can go round inside the castle - we hadn't time this time - the only parts you can't are the very private apartments used by the Queen, but, you get a most peculiar feeling walking round that the Queen (or horrors, of horrors, Prince Philip!) is watching you! I don't know the story behind the Crooked House - perhaps Scatts knows as he has obviously had a close encounter with that particular area. Found this on www.enjoyengland.com ""This fine old property developed its characteristic crookedness after being restructured in 1718 with unseasoned green oak. A secret passageway running from the basement to Windsor Castle, now blocked, was reputedly used for illicit trysts between King Charles II and his mistress Nell Gwynne. The tea rooms occupy two floors, with views of the Changing of the Guard from upstairs. Morning goods, light lunches, classic British dishes, Victorian-style afternoon teas and high teas are served, and a new development for April 2004 is baking on the premises, and extended pre-theatre opening. Teas, books, artworks and baked goods are available to buy. Small dogs permitted if well controlled."" Leave it to Leslie!!!!
