Hello Constantine,
if you would be able to - please post some pictures of Moscow in snow! Here in Idaho the snow had melted for now. We have much warmer temperatures for the last couple of days and almost all white snow is gone. The winters are not that long as they used to be when I first came here

I had forgotten this method of street snow cleaning {cleared from both sides to the middle, then machine scooped into the river}. The lady on the building front, is she the mistress of order for the street? Charles

Hello Constantine,
thanks for the photo. It is additionally interesting since it is in black and white! And so many lights - I remember it from my hometown Krakow.

Of course Toronto {Ontario Province} is very progressive. This machine to remove snow by melting is innovative. Regina is a very respectively large city, it still has not this type of technology. It is still the old blade and pile method, then load and truck out to Wascana Lake for dump and melt {means forget}. What is {was} galling, is the hwy 1 {King George hwy}{Trans-Canada HWY} was cleared first, then Victory Ave and then remainder as time allowed. The Airport Regina was their own to pick up. Charles

Yes we have such machine too. It's rather difficult to remove snow from the Moscow streets, in previous years workers have droped the removed snow to the river Yauza, but due to strict ecological standarts, it is melted now or got out on the dumps outside the city.
