In the other barszcz post Rdy said her mother made barszcz with vegetables. I thought of this recipe in my files. It is an interesting and slightly weird (to me) recipe using many vegetables; comes from this source in 2005: www.barszcz.net/You need to estimate how many of the carrots and parsnips, and how much cabbage and mushrooms to put into the mixture. You are on your own as far as seasoning and herbs go... It reads like it would be a good autumn soup. GM

The recipe is interesting .. I can't cook like that .."some " of this and "some" of that ... but the source is even more so - it appears to be only that one recipe . anyone want to help them out?: : Barszcz.net is looking for further barszcz recipes expressed as source code to add to the repository.
Please email 'info at barszcz.net' (replace word for symbol before sending).

Piwo...And it's not really hard I love packets for when I'm in a hurry, but usually end up "doctoring" them a little...same with cake mixes! I'm saving the easy barszcz recipe for the next one I post...it's a little like Leslie's...maybe even easier Nancy...yes it was a wierd site...there was only that one recipe. However, since I'd never seen anything like it before, I opied it! GM
