Since I missed the festival and chance to drink some Zyweic, yesterdaay I stopped to buy some but saw Okocim Porter also. So one bottle of each and when I am through sampling I wll let you know the results of my tasting. Of course it may take more than a few trys. Bottoms up.

Chris (Rdyw..)
From your postings since you went to that 'concert' it sounds as if it has not done you any good - pot, weird music, and now beer sampling (multi)! I'm starting to get worried about you so I think I'll get Frank to come down and sort you out!!!!

Leslie, I never said I did the pot (unless you count the second hand smoke all around me) I did not find the music to be "wierd". Although I never chose to listen to this type of music once exposed I rather enjoyed it. The beer cravings I get from the Polish sites. Do not worry about me as I am a big girl and got this far. And as the bible says..do not judge lest ye be judged. and I say... "If your not living on the edge your taking up too much space" ;D

Tasting #2......goes very well with pizza. I liked the this one much more than the first beer. Although the first was the color I liked the taste had an after taste of ..... (I'm not sure) The second was a darker more sweeter tasting but had a better after taste. I am not a beer drinker but I think of the two beers the Okocium is the better tasting one. #2 wins my vote..

Chris I was laughing some what over your beer tasting And yes, that is what it is about, tast.... I think perhaps maybe I have been missing some thing by not drinking any of the Polish beers. And there are no excuses for this, as a peoples market close in, has in stock a multitude of beers. Charles

Rdy,
In heaven there is no beer, that's why we drink it here ....
Imagine my surprise when I learned that is not a Polish song ....

rdywenur, As you can see from my Avatar, those are two of my favorites! " i pije, i pije i pije"
And I agree with you: I like the Okocim very much, Zywiec is OK, just not my favorite. It has a more bitter aftertaste, from the hops I think. Okocim makes several different beers, 2 which are listed amoung the 50 best beers in the world by one list I saw.
