The friends Ruben, Jiro and Frank have spent the past few months travelling in Vincent van Gogh’s footsteps. They visited landscapes in Brabant and Belgian mines, they ventured through unspoilt nature to Vincent’s final resting place in Northern France, and they continued their journey to the blistering heat of Arles and Saint-Rémy. With their own eyes, they beheld where Vincent grew up and where he created his first works. The three friends visited the place where Vincent endured his testing times and paused for reflection where he ultimately came to rest.
Just like Ruben, Jiro and Frank, you can now retrace Van Gogh’s steps. Go beyond the well-trodden paths and discover your favourite Van Gogh location. Will you be inspired by bustling city life, or by rural tranquility? With Van Gogh Europe, it’s easy to put together your very own trip!
I love Vincent van Gogh paintings. He is so extremely popular now and the videos you found are interesting. Netherlands were very rich in new art ideas since Hieronymus Bosh, Breugel, van Dyck, Rembrandt until van Gogh. All of them introduced a special style in arts.
