Between the two constellations Ophiuchus and Serpens Cauda are a group of 5 stars in a V pattern that look like a miniature Taurus the Bull. Around 1787, the Polish astronomer Martin Poczobut proposed that these stars be named "Taurus Poniatovii" or, Poniatowski's Bull after King Stanislas Poniatowski II. After the king's reign ended, Poniatowski's Bull lost favor in the astronomy community and is no longer an officially recognized constellation. This group of stars can be observed using binoculars.
