Maria Curie and Albert Einstein became friends in one time, nothing romantic - still...
anybody knows anything about their relationship? How did they meet?

Both Marie Curie and Albert Einstein turned into electrons in the atom U235. As this was an unstable atom their paths crossed one day and Albert played up to Marie, took her out for dinner in the Nucleus Restaurant and met regularly from then on.

Leslie As Leslie noted, it was a very powerful but unstable relationship. Albert kept trying to shatter the very core of their being. However, Marie prevailed and things warmed up considerably. You could even say they positively glowed at times.

Leslie, John
the level of excitation between them was less that the excitation of some atoms, they worked on.....
They met each other the first time on the Solvay conference in 1911 when Maria was already a widow. She became a widow when she was 37, quite young!
They respected each other, they even vacationed together in 1913 with their children.
