Pieter, this is actually quite funny. Do you have problems with toiler paper and other supplies in your place also?

Not yet, received this one from my niece from London. No toiletpaper shortage over here. I have enough toilet paper.

Fantastic Kai, is this lovely lady your partner or a family member of yours? This health crisis makes people creative, inventive and survival experts.

Oh, she is neither partner nor family, Pieter. I saw the joke a week ago and imitated it at my condominium, then was inspired to add to this topic with a photo of the "coughy filter" mask. I couldn't find the original photo on line, so made the choice between this pretty lady with humor and a not-so pretty guy with humor. You can put the choice down to sexism, to commercialism (pretty ladies sell more), or the 'blonde syndrome' where news is too often centered around a blonde and not a brunette or person of color. (Sadly this last distortion of history was blown hugely out of proportion during one of our Iraq wars. About the time a normal looking Indian woman-soldier from New Mexico was killed in a heroic fight, some blonde was captured and held prisoner for a few hours by Iraqi's. The American news was all a gaga over the rescue of the blonde, and the army and politicians created a rush of fake 'heroic' stories about the lady. Happily she was honest, and with great embarrassment came forth and denied all of the propagandistic lies that were created about her. In the end the Indian soldier received due recognition by her home state of New Mexico, but the nation and Prez Bush rather disgraced themselves with her neglect. That is a great digression, but obviously a point I felt worth making. Kai PS> I think the 'coughy filer' is a great idea! Thanks to whoever(s) invented it.

Kai,
Good you mentioned the story of the Indian woman-soldier of New Mexico who died in Iraq and the blond. We have probably less blond jokes, because we have to many blond and blue eyed people. But the dum blond stereotype exists over here as well.
This blond nurse looks simple and talks simple in Dutch (She speaks Amsterdam peoples dialect)
The Dumb Duch blond type
Cheers, Pieter
