An interesting presentation that is some what a quandary of walking a tight rope in the light of reality. For we have to eat, and yet have respect for animal rights and their right to live. And yes, my self am very prolife but yet realistic to understand for one thing to live, another thing must die. This is simply very well understood if to stay with a farmers house for a time, and then the above becomes very well understood at harvest time and when slaughter time of a chicken, pig, beef animal comes about.
I think one of the most important aspects of this life and death of an animal is one that is completed in a humane manner so as not to cause the animal to suffer.
My self am not sure as to how properly to put this as above, but it is my intrinsic feelings.

Pieter, you are so right in this aspect. In the last couple of years I noticed that almost every young woman I meet... and many of them are from Eastern Europe are vegetarians.
I wish I could do this, but I am not ready. But I completely understand their choice. Ela's best friend, an American girl, is vegan since she was 14 and she grew up to be a beautiful tall young woman. Maybe this is the way to go.

Dear Karl and Jaga,
I am a meat eater myself, but have to admid that this has to do with my lazyness, fondness of meat and the fact that I don't put much energy in examining a Vegetarian or even a Veganist life. I have to say that I know excellent people in Arnhem, Amsterdam and North-Brabant (a girlfriend of mine) who are vegetarians and veganists.
I try to limit my meat consumption. But only vegetables is to much for me, so I have become a Flexetarian. Half meat eater and half vegetarian. I do believe that the world could live without meat, but meat is part of the culture of many countries, and it would mean a big transformation of agriculture if everyone would become a vegetarian.
